2007 Summer Solstice Cruise

On the evening of June 21, 2007, NPA held its third annual Summer Solstice Cruise aboard the River Rose. More than a hundred NPA members and supporters of the Dutch Reformed Church restoration attended.

This year's cruise honors the world-renowned painter and sculptor Ellsworth Kelly, born in Newburgh and a supporter of preservation in the Hudson Valley. [Current work]

This year's Solstice Cruise celebrated the installation of temporary exterior lighting of the DRC, paid for the funds from previous cruise events. The proceeds from this year's cruise will go toward other aspects of the DRC restoration, such as the repair of the porico or the restoration of the capitals.
