Built in 1870 as a gambling hall, the Canfield Casino houses the Saratoga Springs History Museum as well as a 77-ft-long Ballroom and a 64-ft-long Parlor, which are rented for special events, including receptions and banquets. There is a large catering kitchen and ample additional storage space. They hold about 70 events per year.

The Casino is owned by the City of Saratoga. One full-time city employee handles reservations & events. Revenues from Casino operations go to the City, which allocates a portion to support the building's operations and maintenance. Some additional revenue from chair rental goes directly to the Casino, bypassing the City budget process.
